UNDERHILL — A 50-year-old man from Essex Junction was cited for negligent operation following an incident in Underhill on Friday.
Police say they witnessed a vehicle nearly get struck head-on by a speeding vehicle that was overtaking another vehicle on Route 15.
The vehicle was clocked doing 73 miles-per-hour in a 50 miles-per-hour zone.
Police initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Israel Bushey.
Bushey was issued a citation ordering him to appear in court on June 28.
He was also issued a traffic ticket for “limitations on passing”.
