LUNENBURG — A car struck an ATV in Lunenburg on Saturday.
The crash took place on Main Street at around 3:40 p.m.
Police say there were two minors on the ATV, and an 8-year-old child was transported to Littleton Regional Hospital for injuries.
Police say the driver of the ATV paused before crossing the road, but did not yield to oncoming traffic.
The ATV made contact with the right side of the second vehicle.
The 16-year-old driver of the second vehicle was not injured and had slowed down to approximately 10 miles per hour prior to the crash.
Police say they are still investigating this crash.
