Strafford man facing multiple charges

VERSHIRE — A 44-year-old man from Strafford is facing multiple charges following an incident that took place in Vershire earlier this month.

On March 1, authorities say they were notified of the theft of a motor vehicle on Vermont Route 113.

According to the report, police learned that David Gilmore was in possession of the vehicle.

The victim in the case is listed as Allen’s Auto Salvage.

Gilmore was located yesterday on Welch Road in Newbury, police say.

He was transported to the Bradford Outpost for processing and released with a citation.

He is being charged with operating without the owner’s consent, criminal DLS, petit larceny, unlawful trespass, and possession of methamphetamine.
