WESTMINSTER — A 24-year-old man from Springfield was charged with assault following an incident in Westminster yesterday.
Authorities say they received a 911 call from Forest Road at around 11:45 p.m.
Police allege that Robert Greenwood assaulted a family friend at the location.
Greenwood was arrested and transported to the Westminster barracks for processing.
He was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on May 5 to answer the charge.
