CALAIS — A 43-year-old man from Williamstown was cited following an incident in Calais yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a potential assault that took place on Vermont Route 14 at around 9:10 p.m.
Police say while investigating, they made contact with David Mercia.
He was found to be in violation of court-issued conditions of release and operated a motor vehicle in a reckless manner.
Mercia was issued a citation to appear in court and was released for the charges of violation of conditions of release and reckless endangerment.
