STOCKBRIDGE — A 36-year-old man from New York was arrested following a crash in Stockbridge yesterday.

The single-vehicle crash took place on Route 107 at around 9:05 p.m.

The driver was identified as Thomas Brewer, of Glens Falls, NY.

Police allege Brewer was under the influence of intoxicants.

He also had an active arrest warrant.

Brewer was taken into custody and transported to the Royalton barracks for processing.

While at the barracks, it was found that Brewer violated his conditions of release by calling a protected party and asking for a ride, police say.

Brewer was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield for the charges of DUI-refusal, violating conditions of release x2, and the warrant.
