MONDAY 02-21-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 10 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Agency Assist – Salisbury – Deputies responded to a report of a house fire on West Shore Rd to assist the fire department. The deputies remained on scene to assist with traffic control until cleared by the fire department.
  • Community Outreach – Middlebury – Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.

TUESDAY 02-22-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 5 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Tuesday is our fingerprinting day! If you need your fingerprints taken for any purpose, please call our office at (802) 388-2981 for further details and to schedule an appointment.
  • Escort – Fair Haven to the New Hampshire Border – Deputies provided a blue light escort for an oversized load.

WEDNESDAY 02-23-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 7 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Child Safety Seat Inspection – Middlebury – Provided 2 car seats to a family that needed new seats and made sure they were installed correctly. If you would like to have your car seat inspected to make sure it’s installed safely, please call our office to schedule an appointment.
  • Community Outreach – Middlebury – Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.
  • Public Assist – Panton – Deputies stood by at a residence while an individual retrieved belongings after being removed from the house due to a Relief from Abuse Order.
  • Escort – Fair Haven to Richmond – Deputies provided a blue light escort for an oversized load.
  • Agency Assist – Cornwall – An officer with the Department of Corrections – Probation & Parole requested assistance after taking an individual into custody and discovering illegal drugs. Deputies seized and destroyed the drugs.

THURSDAY 02-24-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 7 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Community Outreach – Middlebury – Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.
  • Escort – Fair Haven to Castleton – Deputies provided a blue light escort for 2 oversized loads.
  • Arrest Warrant – Hinesburg – In conjunction with a contract with the Office of Child Support, deputies located an individual with an active warrant for their arrest and transported this person to the prison in St Albans. While attempting to locate this individual, it was discovered that another person at the property also had a warrant for their arrest. The Hinesburg Police Department was contacted, and this person was transported to court by them.
  • Agency Assist – Morrisville – In conjunction with a contract with the Office of Child Support, deputies attempted to locate an individual to serve paperwork on them. Deputies were unable to make contact.
  • Arrest Warrant – Sutton – In conjunction with a contract with the Office of Child Support, deputies located an individual with an active warrant for their arrest and transported them to the prison in St. Johnsbury. FRIDAY 02-25-22
  • Conducted Patrols in 4 towns. Due to inclement weather, patrols were focused on ensuring vehicles had not gone off the roadway instead of enforcing traffic violations.
  • Motor Vehicle Crash – Panton – While on patrol in the town of Panton, a deputy responded to the report of a vehicle off the road on Panton Road. No one was injured and the deputy remained on scene while a tow truck assisted the vehicle back onto the roadway.
  • VIN Verification – New Haven – Provided a VIN verification for a resident. We provide this service for free to any Addison County resident, so please call us at (802) 388-2981 to have a deputy come by if you need this done.

MONDAY – FRIDAY

  • Provided security at the Mahady Courthouse in Middlebury. This includes screening visitors as they enter the Courthouse and security in the Courtroom during hearings.
  • Several deputies served paperwork for Civil Process.
