WATERFORD — A 37-year-old man from Quebec was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Waterford yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 93 north at around 6:10 a.m.
Police say that the driver, Enrike Turmel-Gilbert, of Vallee-Jonction, Quebec, fell asleep behind the wheel and drifted off of the road.
The truck struck a rock wall along the interstate.
Gilbert sustained minor injuries and was able to call for assistance.
Police are still investigating the crash.
