RUTLAND — A 55-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and injured in Rutland last week.

Authorities were notified of the incident on US Route 7, near Randbury Road, at around 8:40 p.m.

Police say that David Falco, 55, of Rutland City, was crossing the street from west to east near the intersection with Randbury Road, prior to being struck

This portion of the road is poorly lit and not in a marked crosswalk.
