Fatal crash in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE — A 66-year-old man from Jeffersonville has died following a single-vehicle crash in Cambridge yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 108 at around 8:15 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Mark Archambault, police say.

Archambault was headed north when he veered off the road and hit a tree stump head-on.

He was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

State Police were assisted on scene by the Cambridge Fire Departments.

Police are still investigating this crash.
