Police: Halifax man held without bail following domestic assault

HALIFAX — A 44-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Halifax yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of an assault at an address on Green River Road at around 10:10 p.m.

Police say they spoke to the victim who stated a member of her family had assaulted her.

A short time later, police say they made contact with Chadwick Turner and he was taken into custody.

He was processed at the State Police Westminster barracks.

Turner was held without bail and cited to appear in court to answer to the charges of aggravated domestic assault x2, unlawful mischief, and reckless endangerment.
