Police: Topsham man arrested after making threats with gun

BRADFORD — A 25-year-old man from Topsham was arrested for aggravated assault following an incident in Bradford yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a man at a home with a long gun on Rowell Brook Road at around 9:15 p.m.

The caller told police that they were fearful of the individual and were hiding in the home.

Police say they arrived on the scene and met with the accused, identified as Isaiah Taylor, on the front porch of the home.

Taylor made it known he had a firearm.

Police say he made threats toward them and resisted being taken into custody upon attempting to act on the threats he had made.

He was transported to the Bradford Outpost processed prior to being lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
