RUTLAND TOWN — A 23-year-old man from Rutland was cited following an incident that took on December 23.
Police say they were notified of an assault and robbery at Hannaford that evening.
Ryan Morris of Rutland is accused of assaulting and robbing Sharon Leonard of Rutland, in the parking lot of the store.
Leonard’s items were later found in the possession of Austin Rodriguez.
Police said Rodriguez was also cited to appear in court to answer the charge of possession of the stolen property.
He was located several days yesterday and lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility without bail.
