CAVENDISH — A 54-year-old man from Springfield was arrested for his third DUI following an incident in Cavendish on Saturday.
Authorities were notified of a vehicle in a ditch on Route 103 at around 4:20 p.m.
According to the report, Charles Perkins was operating the vehicle when it crashed into the ditch.
Police say Perkins showed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
He was brought to the Westminster barracks for processing and released with a citation to appear in court on January 11.
