ORLEANS — Police are investigating a theft that took place in Orleans.
On Christmas Day, approximately 1,500 to 2,000 pounds of railroad plates were stolen from the Vermont Railroad System facility.
Trooper Kali Lindor says the theft took place at 8:15 p.m.
Today, police released surveillance footage that shows a vehicle seen in the area at the time of the theft.
