RICHFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Richford yesterday.

The crash took place on Route 105, approximately two miles east of Steven’s Mills Slide Road at around 9:20 a.m.

One vehicle caught fire after the collision, and both sustained significant front-end damage.

Both drivers, Logan Leggett, 25, of Milton, and Kelly Cross, 34, of St. Albans, were transported to Northwest Medical Center with injuries.

Police say that slick roads from deteriorating weather conditions led to the head-on collision.

The eastbound lane in that section of Route 105 was closed for two hours while Richford Fire put out the vehicle fire and assisted traffic through the area until the tow company was able to recover both vehicles from the scene.
