ST. JOHNSBURY — A 33-year-old man from Connecticut was arrested on multiple charges in St. Johnsbury yesterday.

Jashawn Hunter, of Hartford, CT, was arrested on suspicion of trafficking of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, and transportation into the state.

Investigators say he was arrested as a result of the continued investigation into the attempted homicide that Hunter was charged with on October 13.

He is still being held at the NERCC on the attempted homicide charges and was issued a citation to appear in court on December 20 to answer to the new charges.
