Three-vehicle crash on US Route 7, Rutland

RUTLAND — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in Rutland on Tuesday.

The crash took place south on US Route 7 at around 4:50 p.m.

Following an investigation, police say that Cory Haines, 44, of Rutland City, came into contact with the rear bumper of a vehicle driven by Ashley Stillwell, 37, of Rutland City. 

Stillwell was stationary due to heavy traffic. 

After being hit by Haines, Stillwell was pushed forward and came into contact with the rear bumper and trailer hitch of Gregory Howard, 69, of Poultney. 

Police say no injuries were reported during this crash.
