DANVILLE — Emergency workers responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a state police trooper in Danville on Wednesday.
The crash took place on US Route 2 at around 6:10 p.m.
According to the report, a vehicle driven by Connie Kellogg, 64, of Marshfield, pulled out in front of Trooper Gabriel Schrauf, 27, of Barre, while Schrauf was traveling west.
Trooper Schrauf was headed with emergency blue lights on in an attempt to catch up to a motor vehicle for a violation when Kellogg pulled out in front of him.
He was unable to avoid Kellogg and collided with the vehicle.
Both vehicles sustained substantial damage and both drivers were injured, police say.
