EASTON, PA — A 28-year-old man faces multiple charges after crashing his vehicle into a tree early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the 2200 block of North Delaware Drive at approximately 2:05 a.m. on Feb. 18 for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle into a tree with possible entrapment.
Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle crashed into a tree and made contact with the driver, identified as Steven Paul Schanewolf of Pennsylvania.
An officer detected an odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from Schanewolf.
Schanewolf’s blood alcohol content was determined to be .165% within two hours of operating a motor vehicle.
Schanewolf was charged by criminal complaint with driving under the influence of alcohol – general impairment – 2nd offense, driving under the influence of alcohol – highest rate – 2nd offense, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and careless driving.
