MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester woman faces numerous criminal charges after a pursuit that ended in the Queen City.

Around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, State Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks attempted to stop a vehicle on Interstate 293 northbound for lane control and reckless operation, after callers reported the driver was operating dangerously earlier on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack.

The vehicle was identified as a black 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe.

After Troopers activated their emergency lights and sirens, the driver of the Hyundai refused to stop and continued at low speeds while still exhibiting lane control issues.

Troopers initiated a pursuit that continued off Exit 6, before the Hyundai was stopped on Eddy Road in Manchester.

The driver and lone occupant was then taken into custody and identified as Anny Arias Gomez, 34, of Manchester.

During the on-scene investigation, Troopers determined that impairment was a factor.

Arias Gomez was booked and held on preventive detention on charges of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest/detention, aggravated DUI, breach of bail, operating without a valid license, operating after suspension, reckless operation and speed.

Arias Gomez was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at 8 a.m. in Manchester District Court.
