SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested three people on various charges Wednesday and Thursday, including theft, domestic violence-related offenses and failure to appear warrants.

Michael R. Jankowski, 36, of Bristol, was arrested Wednesday at 2:41 p.m. after allegedly stealing merchandise from Target.

Police said Jankowski was found at a nearby bus stop in possession of the stolen items.

After identifying Jankowski, police determined he had five active failure to appear warrants.

He was charged with fourth-degree larceny and five counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Jankowski was held on $55,000 in surety bonds and was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Thursday at 9 a.m.

Joshua L. Reyes, 35, of South Windsor, was arrested Wednesday at 5:50 p.m. on an active arrest warrant.

Police said Reyes’ charge stems from a February domestic violence-related incident in which he allegedly damaged property at the victim’s residence.

Reyes was located by Glastonbury police and transferred to South Windsor police custody.

He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Reyes was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Thursday at 9 a.m.

Ashley M. Gilberto, 38, of South Windsor, was arrested Wednesday at 9 p.m. on an active arrest warrant.

Police said Gilberto’s charges stem from a March domestic violence-related incident in which she allegedly struck the victim in the face, causing minor injury.

She was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Gilberto was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Thursday at 9 a.m.
