ROCKLAND, ME — Rockland Police arrested three people on drug charges March 17, 2026, after responding to a complaint of suspected drug use at a subsidized housing complex for the elderly and handicapped.
Officers were called to the location at approximately 3 p.m.
During the investigation, police seized over 50 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Mark Gagne, 43, a transient, was arrested and charged with felony possession of scheduled drugs (methamphetamine) and a probation violation.
Gagne was released on probation days prior with underlying charges including trafficking of scheduled drugs and abuse of a corpse.
Makayla Batty, 29, a transient, was arrested and charged with several counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, violation of conditions of release and an unrelated arrest warrant for possession of scheduled drugs.
Batty was out on several sets of pre-conviction bail at the time of her arrest.
Tianna Brancella, 30, of Warren, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.
Brancella was out on four sets of pre-conviction bail at the time of her arrest, including bail for several prior felony drug charges.
