LAURENS, NY — A Mount Vision man was arrested Saturday following a report of a physical domestic dispute.
Brandon M. Huestis, 25, of Mount Vision, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said they received a third-party report of a domestic dispute in the town.
Through investigation, deputies determined Huestis had struck the victim multiple times with a closed fist in the presence of their newborn child, according to the sheriff’s office.
Huestis was taken into custody and turned over to Otsego County Corrections pending centralized arraignment.
He is scheduled to appear in Laurens Town Court.
