UPPER ALLEN, PA — Upper Allen Police said a Mechanicsburg woman was arrested early Tuesday after a hit-and-run crash on the 600 block of Gettysburg Road.
Police said officers responded at 12:13 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, to a report that a victim had been struck by another driver who fled the scene.
With assistance from Lower Allen Township Police, the fleeing vehicle was quickly located, and the driver was identified as Becky Pellman, 56, of Mechanicsburg, police said.
Police said Pellman was determined to be under the influence and was arrested at the scene.
She was transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing, police said.
Pellman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property, duty to provide information and render aid, and careless driving.
A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
