Man arrested on DUI charge in Middlesex Township

MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, PA — A 68-year-old man faces driving under the influence charges after allegedly crashing his vehicle twice on March 10, 2026.

Middlesex Township Police Department responded to a call regarding a motorist who crashed his vehicle in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Harrisburg Pike.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver, identified as David Ethengain of Pennsylvania, who displayed visible signs of intoxication.

Further investigation revealed that Ethengain had previously struck a street light in the 300 block of N Hanover Street in Carlisle Borough before driving to Middlesex Township and crashing his vehicle again.

Ethengain declined to submit to a legal blood draw.

Ethengain was charged with driving under the influence, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, and disregard of traffic lanes.
