OLEAN, NY — A 40-year-old man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in the city early Friday morning.
Justun A. Vance, of Olean, was stopped at approximately 5 a.m. March 14, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Vance was found to be in possession of a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine, authorities said.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean substation for processing.
Vance was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
He was arraigned in Olean City Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail pending further court proceedings.
