CARROLLTON, NY — A Pennsylvania man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop early March 16.
William H. Cabisca Jr., 53, of Bradford, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody at 12:29 a.m. on Route 219 in the Town of Carrollton, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Cabisca was a passenger in the vehicle when deputies conducted the traffic stop.
Further investigation revealed Cabisca was in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and suboxone strips, authorities said.
Cabisca was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree-stimulant, a class A-II felony.
Cabisca is due to appear at Carrollton Town Court at a later date.
