Man arrested on drug charges in Boston

BOSTON, MA — A man was arrested on multiple drug charges and active warrants Friday morning near South Station.

Officers assigned to District A-1 made contact with an individual loitering near one of the train tracks at approximately 8:45 a.m. on March 13, 2026.

Derek Boston, 30, of Boston, was found to have four active warrants out of Falmouth District Court and Boston Municipal Court on charges including uttering a false check, forgery, larceny, and possession of a Class A drug.

During a search, officers recovered a plastic bag of fentanyl, four plastic bags of crystal methamphetamine, fourteen tablets of Vicodin, seventeen tablets of Percocet, and two unidentified pills.

Officers also recovered a digital scale, drug packaging materials, and $70 in U.S. currency.

Boston is expected to be arraigned at Boston Municipal Court on charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, two counts of possession with intent to distribute Class C, two counts of possession with intent to distribute Class E, and loitering in a railroad station.
