HOOKSETT, NH — A Warner man was hurt after he crashed a vehicle that had been previously reported stolen.
At 9:50 a.m. Saturday, March 14, State Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks responded to a report of a crash near mile marker 27.4 on Interstate 93 northbound in Hooksett.
The preliminary investigation determined that a 2005 Subaru Impreza, driven by Vicente Metrano, 30, of Warner, drove off the right side of the road and collided with a highway sign for the Hooksett Welcome Center.
The vehicle then rolled over and stopped between trees.
Metrano got out of the Subaru on his own.
He was later transported to a regional hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
During the investigation, Troopers learned the crashed Subaru had been reported stolen from Nashua.
Metrano was arrested at the hospital for receiving stolen property and driving under the influence.
Metrano is scheduled to appear in Hooksett District Court at 1 p.m. Monday, March 16.
