LYNDON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 52-year-old man on domestic assault charges following a reported family fight March 16, 2026.
Troopers received a report of a family fight at a residence in Lyndon at approximately 7:42 p.m.
Investigation revealed Ronald Nelson, of Lyndon, had physically harmed a household member, according to police.
Nelson was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was charged with two counts of second degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful mischief.
Nelson was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Criminal Court on March 16, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
He was lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex on lack of $5,000 bail.
