SEARSBURG, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on VT Route 9 on March 14, 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:38 p.m. near mile marker 4.6 in the area of Lind Lane.
Police said Mattilyn Anne Marie Potter, 24, of Hoosick Falls, New York, lost control of her 2008 Hyundai Elantra due to the wet highway surface.
The vehicle struck a guardrail and sustained damage to the passenger side, particularly to the wheel.
No injuries were reported.
The vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
Road conditions at the time were wet and snowy, while weather conditions were clear.
