WALTHAM, MA — A dirt bike operator was injured in a crash on Lexington Street on Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:37 p.m. when a male operating a gas-powered dirt bike was exiting College Farm Road onto Lexington Street, according to the Waltham Police Department.
The dirt bike collided with a vehicle traveling southbound on Lexington Street.
The male was transported to a local area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
The operator of the vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries and was not transported.
The crash remains under investigation by the Waltham Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
