RUTLAND, MA — A Worcester man was arrested after a resident reported seeing someone attempting to break into a vehicle.
At 10:54 a.m. Monday, a Rutland resident reported seeing a man attempting to break into her vehicle in the area of East County Road and Wachusett Street.
Officers responded to the area and located Alex Jusino, 38, of Worcester.
During their interaction with Jusino, officers determined that he had traveled to the area in a stolen vehicle.
Officers also determined that his license is suspended and that he was in possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine.
Jusino had an outstanding warrant for assault and battery on a correctional employee.
Jusino was arrested and held without bail pending arraignment at the East Brookfield District Court.
Officers coordinated with Worcester police to get the stolen vehicle returned to its owner.
