WEST MILFORD, NJ — A firefighter sustained minor injuries while battling a house fire Thursday morning.
The West Milford Fire Department responded to 9 Cedar Brook Road at 7:40 a.m. for a structure fire.
The fire was brought under control and units remained on scene for several hours conducting overhaul operations.
The injured firefighter was treated on scene and released.
One civilian was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
The West Milford Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting an origin and cause investigation.
The fire remains under investigation but appears to be accidental.
