NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Police, Fire, and EMS responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision at the intersection of John Street and City Hill Street on March 13, 2026, at approximately 9:07 a.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a Nissan Frontier struck a Tesla traveling on City Hill Street before colliding with a stone wall and a tree.
The operator of the Nissan sustained serious injuries.
The Tesla sustained minor damage, and its operator was uninjured.
The operator of the Nissan remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
The Naugatuck Valley Crash Investigation Team was activated and assumed the investigation.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
