LONDONDERRY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on domestic assault and related charges following a family disturbance March 13.
Troopers responded to a report of a family fight at a residence on Magoon Road at approximately 9:14 a.m.
An investigation revealed that Ryan D. Magoon, 37, of Londonderry, had caused fear of serious bodily injury or death to a family or household member, according to police.
Magoon was arrested at the scene.
During the arrest, Magoon resisted and assaulted an arresting trooper, police said.
Magoon was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
He is ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham County, Criminal Division on March 16 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to charges of domestic assault, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
