OLEAN, NY — A man was arrested on multiple drug charges following the execution of a search warrant Thursday evening.
Ronald Daniels III, 37, of Olean, was taken into custody at 216 N. 15th Street after investigators with the Street Crimes Unit located fentanyl and cash in the apartment.
The arrest followed a lengthy investigation into drug sales, according to the Olean Police Department.
The Police Department’s Emergency Response Team made entry into the apartment after encountering subjects outside.
Daniels, also known as “Q,” was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both B felonies, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a C felony, and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a B felony.
Daniels is being held pending arraignment.
The Street Crimes Unit was assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
