YORKSHIRE, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has charged two students in connection with threats made against the Pioneer School District.
The two juveniles, both age 16, were each charged with one count of making a terroristic threat on March 11, 2026.
The Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into the reported threats and determined they were not credible.
The students were processed and are scheduled to appear in Youth Part of Supreme Court.
The investigation was conducted by the Pioneer School Resource Officer and the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau.
