Man arrested on drug charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers responded to an eastside residence for a reported domestic dispute around 7:30 p.m. March 11.

Through investigation, police found that Timothy A. Cook had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Pennsylvania.

Cook was taken into custody without incident.

A search of Cook’s person incident to arrest revealed he was in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.

Cook was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was charged with fugitive from justice and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

He was held at the jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
