Man arrested on drug charges in Ellicott

ELLICOTT, NY — Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 3138 Fluvanna Ave. Ext. on Tuesday.

Larry Grayson was observed leaving the residence just prior to the search warrant being executed.

Grayson was stopped by the Jamestown Police Department a short distance from the residence.

Investigators seized 3.8 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, a .22 caliber rifle and $1,002 in U.S. currency.

Grayson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

Grayson was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
