SALEM, NH — Police are seeking two suspects accused of stealing credit cards and driver’s licenses from patrons at a local restaurant before using the cards to make fraudulent purchases.
The theft occurred Thursday at an establishment in Salem, according to the Salem Police Department.
Police said the two suspects sat near victims who were dining and stole their credit cards and driver’s licenses.
The suspects then allegedly used the stolen credit cards to make purchases totaling more than $1,200.
The charges being investigated include theft and credit card fraud, which are felonies.
