Woman wanted for questioning in Newark shooting

NEWARK, NJ — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that left a man injured.

Christina Guzman is being sought by detectives investigating the incident that occurred on Sunday.

At approximately 3:05 a.m., police responded to Abington Avenue near Clifton Avenue on a call of shots fired.

Responding officers located a man who had been shot.

The officers rendered aid until EMS arrived to transport him to University Hospital for treatment.

The man is reportedly in stable condition.
