Woman arrested on warrant in Troy

TROY, VT — A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant while walking along Vermont Route 100.

Taylor Coull, 24, of Troy, was taken into custody at approximately 11:42 a.m. March 10, 2026, near the intersection of River Road.

Vermont State Police troopers on routine patrol observed Coull walking on the side of the roadway and were aware she had an active arrest warrant.

The warrant was issued for failing to appear March 5 in Orleans County Criminal Court.

Coull faces charges of false pretenses or false tokens $900 or less, four counts; identity theft; vehicle operation without owner consent; and unlawful trespass.

She was taken into custody without incident and transported to Orleans County Criminal Court.

Coull was later lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail.
