Two arrested on drug, firearm charges in Roxbury

BOSTON, MA — Officers executed search warrants at a Roxbury residence on Tuesday, recovering multiple firearms and trafficking amounts of crack cocaine.

Officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District B-3 (Mattapan) and C-11 (Dorchester) conducted a joint drug investigation.

Officers applied for and were granted three search warrants for a vehicle, the target of the investigation, and the residence at 60 West Walnut Park.

The search yielded 47 grams of crack cocaine, a CZ-P07 firearm with 20 rounds in the magazine, an empty extended firearm magazine, 32 foil bags of marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, three empty firearm magazines, multiple loose rounds of ammunition, a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield with five rounds in the magazine, a firearm magazine containing seven rounds, two cell phones and $4,280 in U.S. currency.

Tony Boston, 33, of Boston, was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of possession of a firearm without an FID card, possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of a large capacity firearm, trafficking of cocaine 36 grams of more, less than 100 grams, possession with intent to distribute class D, receiving stolen property and unregistered motor vehicle.

David Walker, 37, of Boston, was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of possession of a firearm without an FID card and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
