WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A 21-year-old man died after being ejected from his pickup truck in a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night.
Windsor Locks police received 911 calls at 10:57 p.m. reporting a rollover crash with an ejection at 255 Main St.
Responding officers found a red Dodge 2500 pickup truck on its roof in the grass and the lone occupant several yards away from the vehicle.
Officers, emergency medical services and firefighters attempted lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful.
Christian Jamrog, of Suffield, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
A preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling southbound when it went off the road on the west side of Main Street just south of Suffield Street.
The truck then returned to the roadway, where it rolled several times and ejected the driver.
A representative from the Medical Examiner’s Office arrived and took custody of the deceased.
The scene was processed and the vehicle was impounded.
Windsor Locks police detectives are investigating the crash.
