Man wanted on larceny charges in Waterbury

WATERBURY, CT — Police are searching for a man accused of defrauding multiple hotels across Connecticut.

Eddie Kennedy, 53, of Waterbury, is wanted on charges of first-degree larceny and criminal impersonation.

Police say Kennedy poses as a business owner and books large numbers of hotel rooms for extended stays, then leaves without paying.

He has been connected to incidents in Southington, Waterbury and Southbury.

Kennedy was last seen at the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury on March 5.

An active warrant with $100,000 bond has been issued for his arrest out of Waterbury.

An additional warrant has been issued out of Southington.
