SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a Hartford man on an active warrant stemming from an alleged assault at a workplace.
Ishmael J. Crawford, 22, of Hartford, was arrested at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of breach of peace in the second degree.
The charge stems from an incident in February at FedEx, 40 Kennedy Road, in which Crawford allegedly punched another employee before fleeing the scene, police said.
Crawford turned himself in at police headquarters, where he was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 25 at 9 a.m.
In a separate incident, police arrested a Manchester man on a larceny charge.
Derrick M. Handley, 46, of Manchester, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. Wednesday on an active warrant for larceny in the sixth degree.
The charge stems from an October 2025 incident at Target in which Handley allegedly stole $24.99 worth of trading cards.
Handley was taken into custody by the Manchester Police Department and turned over to South Windsor police, where he was processed and released on a promise to appear.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 25 at 9 a.m.
