EDMESTON, NY — A New Berlin woman faces a drug charge following a joint investigation by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office and Otsego County Probation Department.
Kayla Vanpelt, 27, of New Berlin, was arrested Feb. 27, 2026, on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Vanpelt was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in Town of Edmeston Court at a later date.
Police have not released any more information at this time.
