FORKED RIVER, NJ — The Lacey Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at TD Bank on Monday.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the bank located at 106 N. Main Street.
A male suspect entered the bank and demanded money from a teller, according to police.
The suspect displayed what appeared to be a black handgun during the robbery.
An undetermined amount of cash was taken.
The suspect fled the bank on foot for a short distance before entering a vehicle and driving away from the area, police said.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall.
He was wearing jeans, a light-colored long sleeve button-down shirt and a baseball hat.
The suspect also wore glasses and a surgical-type mask.
The investigation remains active.
